n 1993, Doris opened her first store at the Daisy Avenue Art Studios where her and her husband and artist David lived. The address was 748 Daisy Avenue, Long Beach, California.
Display Wall Doris’ fashions started in this store and the number of items that were original steadily grew.
Clothes In the Middle Husband David hung Doris’ clothes in the center of the space suspended from the ceiling saving space and money.
Beautiful Building The building was a renovated loft space that was quite beautiful using natural brick walls from the original building.
Display Upstairs In the beginning, the upstairs portion was dedicated to more space for the clothes. But eventually, it became Doris’ first studio.
Happy in her Store Doris smiles as she works behind the counter in her store.
Husband David’s Art Gallery David hung his paintings on the brick wall of the store as an art gallery.
